I have been going to Sharon's class on a Wednesday for over a year now (plus the occasional Monday) and really enjoy them. Sharon is so welcoming but also an excellent yoga teacher who ensures everyone is able to get maximum benefit whatever their level.
I joined Sharons yoga class at the lion gym a few years ago and more recently at the thackley group.As my mobility is not so good now the thackley group meets my needs perfectly. I do chair yoga along side the rest of the group,i am under no pressure at all to go out of my comfort zone. The main thing for me is I'm part of a group of people who are very friendly and we have fun as we exercise, while at the same time my mobility is improving. So a big thank you Sharon for running such amazing yoga classes, you go that extra mile for everyone.
Sharon's yoga classes are exceptional. She is a skilled instructor who creates a welcoming and inclusive environment. Her creative sequences cater to all skill levels, and her teaching style is clear and detailed. Sharon's classes leave you feeling rejuvenated and centered. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their well-being.
Sharon’s yoga classes are well-paced, full of variety and stretch each individual (physically and mentally). She makes her sessions fun and accessible to all, with specific instructions for anyone with particular areas of difficulty, eg. knees, shoulders. I can also highly recommend Sharon’s relaxation sessions, which I love.
Sharon's classes are inclusive and friendly with options for every level. Sharon has helped me individually outside of the class when I was struggling with a pose even though I attend on-line at the moment. Sharon creates a lovely atmosphere with prompt reminders about the pit-falls of each pose. I now wish I had started yoga way sooner! Thank you Sharon
I have been practicing yoga with Sharon for about two years now. My aim is to become more flexible, stronger and improve my balance, whilst clearing my mind from day to day stresses. Sharon’s classes are perfect for me, she is lighthearted but encouraging and very intuitive to people’s needs. We often exceed our own expectations in class and I’m definitely much more flexible and feel stronger
I have been attending Yoga classes with Believe & Achieve for a few years now. I was in my late 70s when I contacted Sharon to ask if she would accept me in her class.. I was made most welcome and told that I just do what my body told me was enough, I could even do Chair Yoga if I felt more comfortable. Since Covid and the lockdown I have suffered a couple of set backs both physical & mental. Sharon has been my rock all the way through, always had time to offer advice and support whenever needed.
I am now turned 80 and Yoga has been my saviour. After suffering a bereavement last year, I was at a very low ebb. I was in a real dark place. Sharon however kept in constant touch with me and I eventually returned to her Yoga classes which have been my saviour. Yes I am older and stiffer but the gentle exercises lift my spirits and embrace my body & limbs at the sat time. I can honestly say that never once have I felt stiff the following day from the exercises and always enjoy a wonderful nights sleep following a class.
I cannot recommend Yoga enough and Sharon from Believe & Achieve must be the most encouraging & sympathetic instructor anyone could wish for. She can adjust any exercise to suit your capability. Long may she keep teaching YOGA
I started attending Sharon's Monday Thackley class just over a year ago. I was struggling with anxiety & wanted to find something that helped focus my mind & get me moving.
It's the only class I've ever looked forward to, stuck with & miss when I can't make it. That's down to how good Sharon is, how she makes the classes welcoming; different every week; how fun they are, we always have a laugh.
I feel stronger, fitter; learned things to calm my mind as well through the relaxation part of class.
Give yourself an hour a week; give it a go...
I absolutely love going to yoga, Sharon is a great teacher, and her classes are fun, and there are people of all ages and abilities, it helps with so many different things, mind and body, I feel like a new woman after an hour session! I highly recommend you try it!!
I thoroughly enjoy my Monday classes with Sharon. They are a lot of fun but yet you know you’ve done a class. You can also do it to your own level - Sharon gives you other options if something proves too difficult.
I love my Tuesday yoga classes. One hour a week makes a real difference and I hate to miss it. Sharon makes the sessions fun and enjoyable and you don’t realise that you are really working your body. My balance, concentration and breathing have all improved. Thank you Sharon for my hour of exercise, reflection and relaxation.
Sharon is a fantastic teacher, each class is fun and relaxing. She understands all your health issues and makes time to talk you through the lesson.
Sharon’s yoga classes are not only great for your body and clearing your mind, but are filled with humour. The classes cover all abilities and each position is explained fully, with everyone working to their own pace.
If you are new to yoga or experienced then these classes are for you and Sharon will be there to greet and guide you with a smiling face.
I started yoga in Sharon's class when I was running. It helped ease the aches and stiffness from races. I did a few on line sessions through lockdown too. Now I am unable to run due to arthritis in my knees but attending a Believe and Achieve class with Sharon really does ease the pain I experience. My flexibility has improved and my hips no longer ache. Sharon's classes are fun and fabulous. Sharon is always on hand to guide you if you are unsure and everyone is always welcome. Thanks Sharon
I came to Sharon’s classes at a gym in Shipley. I didn’t “get” yoga at first but Sharon’s instruction was excellent and I began to feel the benefits. Online classes during lockdown were critical to coming through that challenging time. I enjoy both Sharon’s face to face and online classes.
The yoga days in Harrogate are fantastic and the equivalent of a spa day but healthier and social, if you choose. I’ve even been on a llama trek organised by Sharon which was great fun.
If you haven’t tried yoga and you want to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing, give it a try and a bit of patience, it won’t be long before you are hooked and healthier and calmer.
I join Sharon’s classes online which is so convenient. She is a very friendly instructor, her classes are fun and she put you at ease. They help me to balance my body and mind. No session is the same, Sharon plans them all very carefully - and there is a lovely relaxation bit at the end.
I cannot say enough good things about Sharon and Believe & Achieve.
After a year of ‘other classes’ in Leeds I discovered Sharon and have never looked back. My shape has changed (for the better), I use the relaxation and breathing to help me sleep and chill, I love how much more flexible I am. And four years on I still haven’t needed the expected knee op.
Sharon constantly challenges us, but we always have fun and laughs. I tell anyone who will listen how much I love the classes (both online & in person). I love my yogi family.
I have been attending yoga for a number of years starting originally due to back and neck problems which has helped considerably, the group is so friendly and relaxed , Sharon is a brilliant teacher who organises yoga retreat days and other outside activities which are brilliant, love my yoga family 🙏
‘Sharon’s classes the right mix of yoga and fun. Everyone is supported in a warm friendly environment, encouraged work at their own level and to be the best they can be.
The yoga days are a really good mix of yoga, meditation and relaxation in a calm and friendly environment in a stunning location and alpaca trekking with Sharon is a brilliant fun afternoon definitely not to be missed’
Sharon's yoga sessions are fun, friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, and well run. Suitable for all abilities. Definite improvement in my lower back problem since starting yoga.
I joined Believe and Achieve Yoga in November 2019. I had never been to Yoga and like anything, trying something new always brings fear. This was not the case as we had Sharon. Sharon has this ability to make you feel at ease, and always reminds everyone to go at their own pace and only do what they are comfortable with. Sharon's keen eye, always checks in with you to make sure you have the pose right. The classes are always fun and friendly with Sharon making everyone feel at ease. I recently attended a yoga day which Sharon had organised in Harrogate. I didn't know anyone at this event, but Sharon made sure everyone felt included and comfortable- what an amazing day!. I'm not the best Yogi, but I know it's made a difference to me, not only physically but mentally too. I know that Yoga and Sharon will now always be a part of my life. Love it ❤️
I always enjoy myself when going for a yoga session with sharon. I have tried several other instructors, both here and abroad and no one comes close to the quality you get with Sharon. She guides you through it all step by step and the session is great value for money
Really enjoy your sessions which are never the same twice. Always alternative suggestions to allow for ability or injury and delivered with a smile.
Sharon is really supportive in yoga class. It doesn’t matter whatever level you’re at as she makes you feel comfortable.
What a fabulous yoga class, Sharon is a fabulous teacher so down to earth and friendly. Also enjoyed the extra events Sharon has organised.
I would Absolutely recommend joining the Believe and Achieve yoga classes, great for beginners and the experienced yoga goers.

Sharons Yoga group on a Monday at Thackley is a great way to exercise, is suitable for all ages and levels (even got my husband started). She takes injuries and health issues in her stride and adapts the class to suit everyone. Love these and her Yoga days.
I love the relaxed and positive atmosphere Sharon creates in yoga class. She always explains several levels of each move and I get a real sense of achievement. I’ve really noticed my flexibility and core strength improve.
